Caught sight of this day before yesterday in our fair city:

Yes, it is currently registered and operating. Quite the sight; flash from the past when cars were cars.

Wow! Any idea what year model it was? I'm guessing early 40's. Around here we have what I think is a Model T or similar that I see around town on occasion, and from the sound of the engine it's stock. Amazing how tough and solid those old cars were... Back before they used computer-controlled everything... Easier to work on, less likely to need to be worked on.

The Cadillac V16 was only in production for two years -- '38 and '39. That pix was not the actual one, because I didn't have my lens with me; I had to look it up on the web. But the one I saw was immaculate!
