Physics Experiment, Montana Style

I always have to laugh at the way some people operate their beasts of burden.
Last night, right around the 10 pm newscast, a young lady was traveling west at a high rate of speed, far in excess of that set by the local constabulary. She attempted to make a left turn onto a side street without applying some external force that would reduce the forward velocity in a controlled manner. Fortunately for her, a structure provided that external force. Video pictures
Early this morning, a couple traveling westward from the wilds of the midwest had the opportunity to witness some trophy game up close and personal; specifically, a bull elk! This poor but noble beastie has gone on to that great prairie in the sky due to his contribution to physics. The vehicle, however, lives on, albeit with some slight body modifications to the left fender, hood and grill. Sorry, no pix because I was at work.
