i'm down to the last piece to be finished with my grandmas Lumina. The body molding stripe around the front bumper. It was just held on with double sided molding tape, but what i need to know is what is the best way to get the old adhesive off the back of the molding so i can put the new adhesive tape on.

The morlding is rubber so i need something that will not damage it.

Light heat from hair dryer or heat gun and Goo Gone. Takes time but so far for me it has worked on body panels.
