Chevy & GMC Vans

Fafnir arrived yesterday around noon. The person installing the lift took the van and did the voodoo that he do so well, only I think that he don't do it as well as advertised. It took him about 4 hours to complete the installation. Then, I realized that the ONLY things they got right were:

The high-back seat
The Viper blue color
The coffee cup holder
The weather cover

I had requested that the upholstery be grey cloth; instead, I got black vinyl. It gets HOT here in the summer time. Can you imagine what it'll be like to sit on that after all day in the sun?

I also requested that a large basket be installed behind the seat. The basket on the front isn't big enough to do grocery shopping unless you do it on a daily basis.

And, with no further ado, I give you --- Fafnir!



Future plans include the installation of a 24v air horn (the horn installed now is pitifully puny). Although, I fear that if I don't' use it judiciously, I will be banned from certain retail establishments.

The only real problem I see is your van needs matching paint!

The color is Viper blue. I'm going to paint a GM product with Chrysler paint???

But Vipers are COOL!

And Vipers would eat that Stro alive at the light.

They only offered two colors for that Maxima -- Viper Blue and Candy Apple Red. With my blue eyes, there was no way in **** that I'd drive a red vehicle.
