Leaking Fuel Feed Hose, discontinued part

Hi,

I hope I don't get in trouble for cross-posting this in the Parts Wanted section also. :-k

I found out that this is a discontinued part. Rather than pulling one out of a junkyard, I was really hoping to find NOS or aftermarket replacment. It is part number 15747600 (Fuel Feed Hose), #18 on the parts fiche page.

This is the actual part that has failed and started leaking gas from the fuel pump.

The fuel pump was replaced about 5 years ago. The #19 (return) hose in the fiche picture looks similar but it is a smaller diameter and may not supply enough fuel to the engine. Do you know of any repair kits? I was looking at the Dorman kits. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

But rather than trying to look up the part, you might be better off calling them.

Hi,

Just to close the thread, my mechanic found a couple of these hoses in a junk yard. He'll put the best one on and keep the other for a spare. Thanks for the suggestions! If this happens again I my have to experiment with one of the repair kits.
