A Couple of Car Shows...

Car show season is winding down, but my daughter and I have managed to hit a couple this month.
First up was the annual Moxee Volksfest. This is one of my favorites as I'm a closet VW fanantic. Many of the cars come back year after year, so I didn't take nearly as many pictures as I have in the past. Here are a few that caught my eye.
Last weekend, an ad on Craigslist caught my eye. It was talking about a vintage RV trailer show down in the Tri-Cities. Figured I had to check it out! Ryan and I went down and discovered it was kind of a swap meet, mostly automotive related, with a bit of a car show as well. Turned out the trailer aspect was kind of a bust (and I didn't take any pictures of them.) But some pretty cool cars and stuff!
This little tent trailer was a cool thing. Huge! Great to tow behind a big bike or a small car.
This Corvair pickup was for sale for $4500 and looked really solid. It was tempting... (What was even more tempting was a '69 Chevy Suburban 3-door with a 327 in it for $1500! It too was very solid.)
Not sure what this was, but it was street legal.
This car was headed to Bonneville in hopes of breaking a record.
This was seen out in the parking lot. I'd have taken it home if able!
