The 68600's are shorties are they not?

I want to know what long tubes to use.

i have the vortec ones here but they have many many cracks.

I want to run long tube headers but have no idea which ones will fit...

I'm dropping a carbed 99 Vortec 350 into my 95 Safari van but i need to know what headers will fit?

I know on the older tbi engines you could use hedman headers but will they fit and work on the vortec heads?

If so what are the Hedman numbers?

This vortec motor has CPI SI i believe ( 1 injector and 8 poppets).

The only issue is the obd 1 to obd 2 issues without ripping the entire vans wiring harness apart.

Not even sure if this is do-able due to one being obd 1 and the other being obd 2. I have a 99 vortec 5.7 here and a 95 safari (cpi)... anyone know of a way to get the 95 van to run the 99 engine? The wiring harnesses are gonna be way different as are the ecu plugs. I know they sell a vortec tbi int...

It's gonna get a repaint -- Chevy Pearl White. Same as the Escalades paint color.

What can cause a lag i guess at WOT?

When i hold it to the floor at highway speeds it's almost like it's not getting enough fuel but the pressure is steady at 10.5 psi... at idle it's 13psi.

no emmisions here ( cat went bye bye a long time ago..lol).

I do know there is a vac line off the canister on the drivers side that says "to intake" i beleive.

Just need to buy a few T's for all these vac lines.

So you could remove the chip and have it reprogrammed for better performance and higher shift points? Does that chip also control transmission line pressure? My shift points are crap... shifts at 4000rpm at WOT.
