SOmething is still running after I trun off Van

Hi Guys, Am new here and have a question for you, who know all about these vans.

I turned off the van today and something is still running.
It sounds like a growl coming from what sounds close to the firewall on driver's side.

All gauges are ok, the radio works, wipers, signals are all good.

I unhooked battery and it stopped, so it is obviously electrical.It would have surelyt drained my battery.
...but what could it be?

Any help you Safari / Astro gods can provide is mucho appreciated in this life (and next!)

Aftermarket fan on the cooling system?

Thanks for your help.
I looked further and the sound is actually coming from underneath halfway down the van,
but is vibrating under the hood (fooled me at first.)
Any clues what is under there, which would require electrical power?

Crawl under when you shut it off, nothing I know of in that area but the fuel pump.

Probably the pressure in the a/c system equalizing.
