2024 steering wheel audio controls

TIA! Anyone out there update a 2024 Express to steering wheel controls? i realize Ill need a new head unit and wheel.

Good day, my friends! I have been in line since pre-covid to order an Express. Finally, It is on the way with a basic audio system and NO steering wheel audio controls. Ive read several places NEW Replacement Steering Wheel with controls will talk with a new head unit. Thoughts please.

These options no longer available. I aint bitching too much...V-8 off " constricted list ". Many more options no longer available. Ive read in a few Silverado sites steering wheel controls can be restored with new steering wheel. 2 choices with new audio systems in Express... cheap and cheaper. No XM, Bluetooth, or CD player. I was just on a " fishing trip " looking for advice. cheers

No, it's a site for all GM Vans, including your Express. But you did post in the wrong section, so I'll move the thread for you.

I realize the OP hasn’t been here in a while, but thought I’d share in case he returns or it’s helpful to someone else.
My 24 came with the base radio and steering wheel , since they cancelled the better stereo, bluetooth and steering wheel controls options after I ordered.
I bought the leather wrapped steering wheel with radio controls (through Rock Auto) and installed it myself. It’s super easy and the wheel-mounted radio controls all work on my base radio. The only thing that doesn’t work is the bluetooth phone switch, since GM doesn’t install the module anymore.
The GM part number is 85144341.

The new wheel looks and feels much better. I just wish the grip were thicker, like most newer cars.
