Harmonic Balancer

Some of us rely on blogs to diagnose issues. Also talked to three mechanics and nobody mentioned this. My 1990 Vandura has been vibrating since we bought it. It seemed related to the torque converter. I did new motor and trans mounts. New fluid and filter. Lubegard. Didn't think to look at the harmonic balancer. The rubber dampener is half gone! The outer ring is not centered! Just posting this to help the next guy who might be at a loss as to why his van has the shakes.
