Thanks Matt.

You go thru the town of Roslyn to get to the trail head. The tv series "Northern Exposure" was filmed there; you remember the moose walking right down main street.

Here's a link to NWOS slideshow. Everyone dumps photos into the site. I'm not sure if the link goes straight to the slideshow, it may only go to the photo section, in which case navigate thru "Activites", then "2008" then "Perseids Expedition" if you want to see 75 pics of rigs and people you don't know with about 6 good shots of the Astro.

Grab a beer and chips. My favorite is a night shot that Craig took of three of us climbing the mountain in the dark. He told me he took it, but I still had to take a "double take" when it came up in the slideshow. My van is first, leaning over to one side, Brian's Sportsmobile is second, leaning the opposite direction, and a Land Rover third, on a different bump all together still. I may have to hang that one in my office.

Yep,you want some underarmor soon.
That shot near the end of the series with a VERY pointed rock made me think a little.
Hope you have the right tube of RTV or liquid metal in the box with you..... :-$
Again thanks for the memories =D>

Yes, I'm familiar with Roslyn as I've snowmobiled out past there. Looks like I need to get the van out there too! (Yes, Petey, I'm aware I need to get it on the road first!)
