04 Chevy Express 1500

Can someone please assist me with a blower motor electrical diagram.
Specifically the Orange wire from the resistor block.
I assume it goes to the HVAC control module.
Thanks in Advance

Welcome to the forum.

Orange wire goes to your control panel switch.
The website charm.li is an excellent source for wiring diagrams.
What's happening with your van?

Sorry for the delay MMJ
I didn't receive any notifications on this.

I have no blower motor in any switch positions.
I believe my 07 has an electric selector ( damper position ) where as this 04 has vacuum.
How does it transition from a orange electric wire to a vacuum controller.
Is there a vacuum switch of some sort ?
Is it internal to the HVAC control ?
I'm thinking I can jump Brown #141 to White #119 @ the 8 pin connector of said control to test this.
Thanks for your assistance.

Blower motor control is all electric. No vacuum involved whatsoever.
First step is to check your fuses, and test your blower with 12V to make sure it works.

Been there done that on both former and latter.
Blower runs if I jump red/black to orange at the resistor block.
Do you have a diagram of the 8 pin connector at the hvac control module ?
Additionally there's a jumper I circled in red that connects the electric to the vacuum assembly at the HVAC control module. At least that is how it appears on that diagram.

So which of those wires has 12V on it ... RD/BK, or OG?

Red/Black which starts at the 40amp fuse.

So according to the posted diagram ... the control panel gets its power on C2 (connector 2), pin E (5th from top left according to alphabet).
Do you have 12V there?

I haven't checked that yet I've got to remove the dash panel again.
This is were my thinking was to jump across there to take the damper position out of the equation.

A multi-meter or test light is an essential tool for circuit diagnosis.
Wire color should be brown.

Yes I agree and use my Fluke every day servicing commercial HVAC equipment.
A jumper is essential as well to bypass components that may be a problem.
I'll get back on this soon and post back my findings.
Again I appreciate your assistance.
