More Mountain Biking Pics

Post by WVKayaker »

Went to Cranberry Glades area of the Monongahela Nat'l Forest this past weekend for an awesome biking trip. 23 Mile ride, 4 hours, dropped 2,500 feet in 8 miles, all single track and pretty technical. The whole area is a dream!

Looks like a damn good time.

Did you car shuttle to the top, or loop a climb and descend?

We drove to the top, rode up and down the ridgeline for about 12 miles then bombed down the mountain 2500 feat in 8 miles. And shuttled back to where we started...It was pretty awesome. Hopefully some of the guys will post some more pics...

Check out the forum where I met these guys on line Tom...it's a hoot!

http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?p ... 6#poststop

They are elite riders...A couple of guys race mountain bikes too...Not even in the same league as me...but I was able to hang with 'em...

Awesome Really wish I had time this summer to go on a trip like that but have to pay for college... I like your bikes and glad to see they are getting used well.

If I'm by myself I carry my bike in the van. If I have a crew they go on my Thule hitch mount rack.

Here's a couple more pics from the trip

Nice pics!

Looks like some sweet terrain. Rode around Fayetteville some where a few times when we would paddle the New and the Gauley. Awesome area.

Hey, I couldn't help but notice someone rolling old school with the ridgid, rim braked, flat peddled, straight bars with bar ends. Is that yours or your bro's?

The Raleigh hangin' on the the Thule is my buddy Randy's...It's prolly 13-14 years old or so. Mine is the P.O.S. K2 Attack behind it. That's me in the blue shirt in the pics...
