Front seat question and an arm rest fix.......I hope

In the picture below, what was where the black thing is on the side of the seat? Lumbar control?
Also in the pic, you'll notice the arm rest is not right. Same deal on the passenger seat. They can spin all the way around. So I decided to take them off.
I read on a couple posts here to push in where it pivots, then push back a little further and pull them off. Well, that wasn't working. So I decided just to pull them off with a little force, and they came off. After getting them off and looking at them, I didn't any sign of how pushing, spinning and pulling would help in getting them off. Especially with the little pin that "was supposed to be there".
This is what I found on the drivers side......
Luckily I found the sheared off pin in the fabric of the seat.
The pasenger side still had the small pin still intact. The armrest itself was the problem with that one. The little channel where the pin rides was broken on the one end. Most likely from some heavy weight being. pushed on the armrest.
Break out the JB-weld. Love that stuff.
Piece of flooring holding the pin up while it dries.....
I had to grind the pin a little. Just to smooth the jagged edge.
Passenger side arm rest with channel mod.....
We'll see how they work tomorrow. I'll just have remember not to lean on them too much.
