Cam sensor or CKP

Post by Ericglo »

I went by Autozone and they checked the codes for me. I am getting a P1345 code. According to their readout, the definition is camshaft to crankshaft position correlation fault . The explanation is ECM detected that the cam and crank sensor positions were out of time. The probable cause is either an engine mechanical condition - valve timing off or cam sensor or crank sensor are loose on their mounting. I just checked and the sensors are not loose. I measured the cam sensor at 11.3 and the crank sensor at 12.09. Are these correct? Any other thoughts?
