Re: Not so Newbie

$2750 seems pretty cheap for that much Astrocrack. :bounce: I should know, I spent a lot more than that on (Astro)crack! That is one sweet looking ride. It is cheap for that van and I really wish I could keep it. I need funds to complete the FireVan and the economy sucks so I was trying to make it ...

Re: Not so Newbie

The '96 2wd has the original 8" kit on it that I designed for OV just before Dan took over the biz. In front it uses the 2" subframe drop + 4" lift spindles + 3" lift coils. In back it has 2" shackles + 4" springs + 2" pinion correcting axle blocks + 1" front ...

Re: Not so Newbie

Thanx guys. Good to be back here. Update: I put the Baja rims & 31x10.50 Mickeys on it today. It is finally looking like something I want to be seen in. =D> I had to do the standard trimming to the inner rear edge of the front wheel well to clear the tires when turned. I removed the bumper cover...

It will be like on my white '96. The lower part and wheel arch will be a gloss or satin black bed liner. The cladding to me makes t...

Re: Not so Newbie

Welcome back Steve! I'm with T.low...I've been thinking of removing my lower cladding as well...I always think it makes the van look piggy.... Piggy is a good word for it. It is held on with 3m tape over nice clean paint. There are a few plastic push clips along the bottom of the rockers that pop o...

Re: Not so Newbie

I am a firefighter/medical first responder that is on call 24/7. When something goes down I volunteer to...

Not so Newbie

Greetings, I use to live here (old site?) a few years back. Some of you may remember me as Safari4WD or Steve from Overland Vans. Even though I sold Overland to Dan and have been away from the van forums for a few years I have never been without a lifted van. They continue to be the most usefull veh...
