88-98 GM 1/2 Ton Stock Alloys fit Astro

Post by thevalleyboy »

Does anyone happen to know if the stock alloys for a 2wd 88-98 GM truck have the same offset/rim width as the Astro? I know they are the same 5 x 5(127mm) but how about the rest? If anyone knows please let me know. I have a chance to jump on some stock truck alloys and would like to jump on them if they are the same. Thanks

the only difference is the width. 7" compared to 6.5" on the van rims. i'm running steel truck rims on my work van with no problems

Gotta wonder why in the world the "Stro" came stock with 6.5s, just 7s alone give a way more confident feel for our babys.

yeppers, they fit no problem. and IMHO they look VERY sexy!! (see my 94 below with 245/60/15 and lowered 2/3). Problem is, that they are like needles in haystacks to find, which makes no sense considering the thousands and thousands of trucks they came on..
