LOVE Classic Rock here & would love to take a listen. But I can't get this darn thing to work for me. Think I may need to download something or another. I'll certainly give it a try when I can get it to work.

THANKS Mr SoCalli!

Huh? > You like english singing rock music....?

After our meeting in Florida, I got the impression that you were more of a French,' country and western' hillbilly listener?

Which I felt was kinda strange, but whatever floats your boat......?

Try Pandora Radio. After a quick account/log in, you specify which genre of music you prefer... you can also create a 'station' of your own. The sound quality is great, and the variety of music is very good.

I'm sure Larry will like Lawrence Welk, and Peter can get all the show tunes his little blue heart desires.... O:)

Regulatory? My butt! Try the word censorship instead. I thought this was permitted under NAFTA, also....

Ya the American TV broadcasters who have started showing episodes online are horrible for their rampant blocking of Canadian IPs. Altho you can get around that by using an American proxy. One really horrible one I came across was a British TV station that was airing a show called the IT Crowd online but the messed up part was they banned Canadian IPs from watching but not US ones!!

This is most likely because they are afraid us crazy canuks will pirate it since we don't have a dictatorship / not consumer minded at all intellectual property rights act. AKA DMCA ( very very very EVIL!)

When we moved to south Florida over 20 years ago one of the first things I noticed was three Classic Rock radio stations! Now there are a radio dial full of 'em! Like 50-60's music, no problem, 60-70's?? We have it 70-80's?? Got that too! Some even specialize in metal-blues-Beatles-Zepellin- 'Stones, etc. during certain hours of the day, etc. We HAVE Classic Rock!! Besides all of them, I have a satellite radio (Sirius) in Carole's Magum and in my Astro...the Harley is next!! It's not that I hate the new stuff, but I can listen to stuff I grew up with, and I'm old! I played drums (still do) in a garage band in High School and we fooled around at various sites, but mostly had fun! I STILL wanna hear the songs I played back in the day. I can do it this way. Also, I can put the dial on easy listening stuff when the REALLY old folks go anywhere with us! LOL! :guitar: :guitar: :guitar: :guitar: :guitar:

I love classic rock. For me it's the late 70's early 80's. Here's a classic from the psychedelic rock of the 60's. How many knew that old Kenny started out doing rock?

I even like stuff like this too. Nothing like the old Amboy dukes and uncle Ted.

Here's where Bob Seager started...
