There's a bump on the rear of the roof of my astra

Post by pengyou »

...though I must admit it's not much of a disasta'
so I though that I should come here to all you and ask ya'
cuz I still feel my van is really, really, fantasta!

hehehehe

I was in my friend's home yesterday. He has a bay window that is 15 feet above the street so I had a beautiful view of the top of my van. I noticed on the rear of the van in the center there is a rectangular shape with rounded corners on the top of the van that sticks up (probably) only 1/4" Does anyone know what this is for?

It's a flat surface so you can mount an r/v style roof vent, if you so wish.

you mean back by the third brake light? i always thought that it was for just that. on second thought i suppose even the years prior to the third brake light had them as well which then makes sense if it is for a roof vent....
