How reliable is the Chevy 3.7l I5 5 cylinder

Post by astrogus »

My girlfriend went out today and purchased a 2005 Colorado LS Z71 4x4. It has the GM I5 5 cylinder in it, Does anyone have a clue to the reliability of these motors? I just think its unholy a 5 cylinder? In my mind i keep thinking of some GM frankenstein project truck. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Todd
