Speed Sense Wire

Post by Mr Singh »

Guys

Does anyone know which is the speed sense wire on a 97' Astro? Hooking up a Pioneer navigation unit and requires a speed sense connection for the GPS to track speed.

Thanks!

Is that the wire on your pioneer loom or the vans? I'm looking for the VSS wire anywhere inside the interior I can get a feed from :)

The vehicle speed sensor (vss) is in the tailshaft of the transmission, you could trace the wires back to the dash from there. Should be easy if your interior is still stripped out from installing your monster stereo.

i just looked at the stock unit i pulled out, there is the green wire with a white strip to the head unit attached to the factory connector but i can't find the paperwork i had that identified all the wires sadly but I'm 90% sure that's the right wire
