New with pictures of my van and trucks!
It is a 2000 model, fully loaded, even had a TV in it when I got it and rear air/heat. It has 84,000 miles currently and is a strong running Astro. Anyways onto the pics and info:
I have upgraded the cd player, door speakers, and installed a sub. We are using the van to tow our 1972 Datsun PL521 to shows, to help it handle the weight I have installed a brake controller, Firestone Air Bags with a full Viair air setup and Hornblaster's Psychoblasters Horns. I have also upgraded the exterior with clear taillights and corners and DDM 6000k hids. Tomorrow the windows are getting tinted on it. Here are some pictures:
The day I got it:
Current:
All I need now for now is a seat belt bolt (one that holds the seat belt in place on the side of the van for the middle seat), I lost one when I took out the interior panels to install the sub, if anyone has one sitting around let me know and I will pay shipping plus a couple bucks!
Also here is my brake controller and the hidden button for my horns:
Here are my 2 show trucks:
My 1993 Bagged Ford Ranger:
My wife and the Ranger :
And on it's old wheels:
Here is my wife's 1972 Datsun PL521, bagged and bodydropped. It is 42" from the crown of the roof to the ground:
Our trucks together:

Welcome! I probably have the bolt you need - I've removed a couple of seat belts when I went to the Westfalia/Weekender style 2-row interior. Do you need the lower bolt or the upper one?
More specifically, do you need the shorter bolt with the smooth shoulder or the longer one that's threaded the whole length?

It is the upper bolt, next to the window on the middle seat. So I think that would be the shorter bolt...correct me if I am wrong.

I followed the lines from the tranny and it looks like there is a factory one already installed. It is on the side of the radiator.oldsmoker wrote:thats a fine lookin astro!...did you install a cooler up front for your tranny?

Re: New with pictures of my van and trucks!
thats good that it has one, reason i asked is that i have just gone thru a WAKE UP session with my van, tranny slipping, looks like i might have been lucky but decided to spend the $ on a cooler and magnefine filter to protect and prolong fluid & tranny life....if you are gonna be towing i would suggest a good quality fully synth fluid, magnefine filter and change often!
i wish my van looked like yours! welcome to the club!

Welcome! Nice van. I like the Datsun too...rat rod look...nice.
As for the trans cooler on the van, you would be wise to install an aux cooler. Look in the transmission and/or towing threads for install pics and tips.
