Stealing another moment here;
It's got 60k miles,
it's white,
all white - interesting that way,
it's clean,
haven't checked for a aux trans cooler or rpo codes yet,
(did I mentioned we're having a blizzard?)
but when the white stuff settles down I'll get to it,

Changing the subject on you all I've got two questions:
1) anyone able to forward a link to a post that shows how to install an ignition over-ride kill switch. You know as an anti theft device.

2a) It's got "Cooper Discoverer ATR" tires on it - opinions/reviews?
2b) I was considering the new "BF Goodrich Winter Slalom KSI" tires for my Safari (and maybe the new Astro) anyone know of any opinions or feedback on these yet?
2c) comparison/opinions between the two??
thanks,
Ian

I've got coopers on my van. I think they are discoverers ( i will have to check... Lots of snow and ice right now and i don't want to go outside at the moment).

I will check and make sure. later......... But.

The coopers seem to be doing OK in the snow right now (we've got up to 6inches + at the moment). But i think they are a little bit loud. I am actually looking for some more touring tyres after the snow seasons get over.

on a side note. I had the same tires on my old honda passport (isuzu rodeo) 2x4 and i did not like thier performance in the snow and ice. I guess the weight is a big help.

And yes the Safari is a 2 wheel drive model.

My bad.... My memory is not what it should be.

My van has Federal brand tires.. Doing good so far this winter......

The coopers were on my Passport, i wasn't too impressed with them in the rough/snow/ice. But that may have had more todo with the lightness of the vehicle and the lack of aids (4wd or posi diff).

The federals on the van have about the same tread pattern though.
