I believe Quigley only did work on (brand new) straight from the factory vans.

Excellent pics! Gotta say though...that is pretty mild wheeling :poke: :muhaha: These vans will do a LOT more severe stuff. The section where you didn't go would be no problem for the Astro. Your best bet would be to air down to around 20 psi and crawl all over it.

Again...awesome pics and they make me want to go wheeling again ](*,)

Hey Matt, Mapquest says that Selah is only 4.2 miles away from Yakima. Is that right? I just bought some BFG AT's LT255/70R16 with 50% tread left off Jerry "Soggymountain" for $60 for the set of four in Yakima, thanks to PHR!$K for the hot tip. Not sure when I'll be down to get them.

Now I need another set of $100 wheels.
That's right, Selah is just a bit north of Yakima, separated by a 'gap' in the hills. Let me know when you are coming down and we'll get together.

In fact, set aside a couple of extra hours and we can go explore some of the local 'green dot' roads up in the Wenas Valley that is a few miles north of town. (My van might be down, but my Super Duty isn't!)

Oh no doubt, it was light duty, but still getting to know the van, :-k and first time with this new found friend Brian who already thinks I'm a loose nut. Glad you think it could do the loose climb that I didn't attempt. I know I could have made it, but at what cost. I tweeked the suspension today and finally got rid of the mystery rub in the front end. At the time of the trip, I thought I might bounce the front end on that climb and rub the front facia right off!

T.Low, I really wish your signature had van specs. Must emulate.

Whaddya think of the new sig; too much info or good? Anything I should delete or add? Gotta have the "Go Wings" while they win their way to hoisting the Stanley Cup!

Hey Guys, I've been real busy lately and haven't been on in a while so I just saw these photos. All I can say Tom is WOW! Can I go next time??? Man, you guys out west have all the fun... Here in the East everything is "private" property or government owned and "posted" (at least where I live) so you either have to know someone or break the law to go any distance off road. Just jealous...Great pics man. Good to see you are getting what you expected out of your new toy =D>

Haaa, hell yeah you can go next time, as long as you can meet us in Ontario, Oregon, this Friday at 5:30 am. We plan to explore the Owyhee River Canyon. I won't be able to do the entire trip as I haven't been able to get my 2spd T-case control module, etc yet, so I'll follow along then Jen and I will not do the low range part of the trip ( I have never been so upset with myself before for not meeting a deadline). But there is plenty of high range area to cover down in that part of the country.

Good to see ya, thanks for the props, hope all has been well.

So I realize this is a bit old, but did anyone ever try this? It looks like you can get a similar dimension to the skid plates Lifted was making for between 60-100$. I am not rock crawling, so 100ish doesn't seem to bad for a "just in case" mod. Would love to see how you attached it though...I don't have very good fab skillz, and wouldn't know where to begin. Just take his drawing to home depot?? Thanks!

Haven't seen one made of plastic yet, but Dean has made a few steel or alum and has posted the plans to make your own on this forum.
