I have a chance to buy one of these two Astros.


2002 Astro LS 112,000 miles. Looks great, inside/out $5950

2000 Astro 63,000 mile Mint $4900.

Both have rear air.

If its got tits or wheels, its gonna give you problems!
im sure we all know the #1 junk yard rule if it fits in your pocket its free.

I'd go for the 2000 hands down.....cause of the miles.

Same here, the 2000 should have less wear on everything.

Generally, miles hurt more than time.
Unless we are talking highway miles.
But, then again, I've seen some women that.....

.... back to the subject.

It really depends on how each was treated.
Type of mileage.
Garaged.
Regular service.
Multiple owners.
The list can go on.......

There is no clear cut answer.
I was told getting my beauty sleep was a waste of time.

1990 Astro (Z motor) mostly original @ 343,584 miles (552,944.8488960001 Canadian) (03/2008). Bad startup puff. Starting to spray for skeeters. Gone 06/07/08.
1993 Astro with a bad W motor. Parked next to a chicken coop in Talking Rock GA
I'm 'tween Canton and Holly Springs (North NorthWest of Atlanta GA)
I haul bottled water everyday- between 500 and 2500 pounds (226.796185 and 1,133.980925 Canadian) INSIDE the van.

I just pulled in. This thing is mint. Thanks for the help guys. Pictures tomorrow.

It feels very strange driving this vehicle. The seat is so high!

Green is about 50/50 City/Hwy
Grumpy is about 80/20 City/Hwy
