Illinois says Hi

Post by DSkidds »

Skidds here. i have a 1999 Chevy Astro Custom Craft. it does have running boards but i took them off because they were in the way when i was working on the van.
My ma originally bought the van with 80k miles in 2007. now i own it and it has 156k miles. i got the van as a gift for christmas in 2010. my gas gauge does not work at all, but my meter reads 17mpg. i've been putting money into it and heres what i have done

Cherry Bomb Glasspack 27' inch
Spectre Air Filter
Catco Catalytic Converter
Accel Cap/rotor
AC Delco Irridium plugs
Omni-Spark plug wires
new PCV valve
new fuel filter
replaced vacuum lines
new brakes

out of every i put in the van only gets 17-20mpg or so. when i got it i was getting 12mpg.
there are some problems with the driver side window motor, gas gauge, play in the steering wheel, leaks transmission fluid, has a random misfire and rough idle.
