Ok back into the intake manifold again $400.00 later plus new gasket good thing I get these at cost I work at Fountain Tire have a great mechanic to help me out great fabricator as well. plus the egr valve to ad to the problems (it is from a 94 safari van).

curious; have you checked at the rear of the transmission my 95 awd did the same speedo stop working and then would not go past first gear. Let me now what you find.

i am looking to do this swap as well, do I remove the clam at the front of the comp spring then use the bastard bolt hole by the fuel tank to replace the new spring pack? I think I have to but not sure last time I had to do this was 6 years ago with my uncle 2wd astro van. I ll keep looking through ...

have you any more pics of the front end leaf spring hangers or how would you go about mounting coils when I have torsion bars (I'm very new at this); and what did you use for the steering shaft? or did the length stay the same?

Where about is the reg located same place as the spider under the intake manifold #-o I have been there not much fun but surprise very easy

ok looking at these pic they make sence. For the front axle you think the half ton ford axle would not need the steering modification to clear the spring pack? I say half ton cause my van will be for looks not extreme offroading. let me know what you think.

I have done this operation and it does roll about 1 foot ither way before the trans locks in I thought it was my transmission going but I guess not. Nothing out the ordinary has happened yet but I do get better millage on a tank of fuel kinda nice.
