Re: Simple problem, yet dumbfounded I haven't found the answ
Ah! it's just an accessory light wire? That would explain the random light bulb thats sitting behind there.. I'll just assume I don't need it? Thought it may have something to do with my 12v sockets/cig lighter..

Simple problem, yet dumbfounded I haven't found the answer.
:withstupid: I have a 98 cargo astro.. Took out my glove box to do some speaker and lighting wiring a week ago, disconnected the 2 connections from the glove box successfully. Upon putting it back in I noticed that the one connection(the smaller one with 2 prongs, not the cube looking one) does not ...

Windshield Visor Running Lights Wiring (98 Astro)
I have a freshly picked windshield visor from my local junkyard, it has about 7 yellow running lights over the top of it.. I was unable to find where exactly the wire was ran to when I took it out.. I'm assuming the wires (+/-) should run to the headlight switch to turn on when the headlights do.. i...

my dash lights are out and rather than finding what the problem is in the mess of wires.. I have 2 LED strips that I plan to put in the dash to fix the problem.. however I am unsure where the splice in the wires. I'm assuming the headlight switch would be easiest, but I don't know what wire goes to ...

Re: where is my ignition switch? (needed for remote wire)98a
Your ignition switch is located on the steering column. Note that I said ON and not IN. Remove the under dash trim panel. You'll see the bracket holding the column. DON'T loosen those nuts just yet. At the base of the column under a flap are four 10mm hex screws holding the column to the firewall. ...

where is my ignition switch? (needed for remote wire)98astro
I want to run a remote wire from my 1000w kenwood amp in the back to my ignition switch so I can wire in a cut off switch in my dash just in case I need my 12 in. kenwood subs off. I already have a small hole in my fire wall where my auto starter/alarm and amp power wires run. So, Where i...
