Re: Rear End Swap
Thanks for the replies guys, we were just going to swap it in and leave the discs on it, our biggest problem would be the proportioning valve as we couldn't figure out how to work our way around that. Our main concern was, would the shocks, driveshaft and mounts hook up. Thanks again.

Rear End Swap
The rear end is gone in our '97 Astro (GU5) and we have a 03 Safari AWD rear end, can we swap this into the 97? Thanks
Re: Fuel Pump
Thanks Smiliesafari, we decided to go with the Carter pump.Smiliesafari wrote:I replaced my fuel pump with a Bosch pump in 2010. Pump only.....used the sender that was there. Everything works fine.
Fuel Pump
Hope I am in the right forum here . . . Want to change fuel pump on our 2003 Safari thinking of getting the Spectra one but on Rock Auto it shows that it comes without Robust Fuel System Sender. Not familiar with this Robust Fuel SS, how do we know if we need it or not. Thanks

Signal Light
On our '99 Astro the driver's side front signal repeatedly keeps blowing the bulb and we cannot seem to find the problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

New Snow Tires
On our 1999 Astro 2 wheel drive we have a set of summer tires 235/75 R15 on it and we have 2 new winter tires not on rims size 215/65 R 15. Would the 65s be too wide on the back? What do you all think?

Re: Stalling
Thanks for the advice, actually this gauge constantly reads almost full. We will take our time when we are putting it together and it will be nice to have the gauge working again.

Re: Stalling
Thanks guys for the replies. The fuel filter is not too old but I did suspect maybe it could be the pump. We are planning to get one from Rock Auto. Also, the fuel gauge is not working on the Astro, and they say there is a part that should be replaced same time as the pump to fix the fuel gauge prob...

Thanks guys for all the replies. Would love to get into replacing the vacuum lines but where we are, we are going through a cold spell but plan to get at it as soon as we can.

Stalling
We have a 99 Astro which generally runs fine but now lately the motor seems to want to cut out as you are driving along and just yesterday, it actually stalled but after about 20 minutes it fired right up and ran fine. This does not happen all the time, not sure what to look for, any suggestions wou...
