Hi.
How did you do the rear hatch door release? We've been thinking we need something like that. I was just going to make a pull cord.

Anyone going to the North West Overland Rally?
Here's the site - http://northwestoverland.com/
Camping, classes, fire, with like minded folks
Is anyone going? I think we're going to go and see what it's all about.

Re: GTRV no longer doing Astros/Safaris...
I'm keen to hear what happens with this. I just need a bit more space, If the sleeping arrangement could be moved "upstairs" that frees up a lot of room in the van for the kitchen/living/storage space. Ideally a bubbletop would be best for year round camping, but I've not seen one that doe...

Re: How do I install an Anti theft switch?
Hi Smilie.
Could you elaborate on how you did this? Im able to wire things up if I have instructions, but Im not electrically inclined to be able to just go at it. Thanks

How do I install an Anti theft switch?
I'm wanting to install an anti theft switch but I'm not sure how to go about it. Is the fuel pump the best wire to interrupt with a switch? And if so can I just use a regular toggle switch on the negative cable? Where can this wire be found? Im thinking of wiring under the van and going to a switch ...

H3 wheels fitment
Hello.
I've seen/read that people have put H3 wheels on their vans. I see there's some fitment issues, how do I get around the bore size difference and the lug length?
Experiences welcome.

Re: Intermittent speedo, cruise control, abs and brake ligh
I put a new sensor in Friday night. The Mrs went on a mini roadtrip Saturday morning, drove about 400 miles with ni issues.
She then teied putting the cruise control on and the speedo stopped again. Argh, I thought we fixed it.
Any further ideas?

I've bought a new speed sensor so I'll try that this weekend. Thanks for the diagram, that should make it easy.

Intermittent speedo, cruise control, abs and brake light
So over the weekend we drove down to a friends house about 4 hours drive away. We've had the abs and brake lights coming on since we bought the van about 1000 miles ago. When braking to a stop, like a surprise red light while going 60 down a dual carriageway, the brake seems to pulse like a warped r...

Re: 22-1195HD questions
Well, there's no rule that you have to raise the front just because you raise the rear, but if you're looking for a simple modest lift, then you have a range of choices. This thread started with you trying to change to lift shackles, right? That alone starts to move you towards all the things you j...

Re: 22-1195HD questions
I'm not looking for a 4" lift though, and I was under the impression the springs you mention will lift the rear 4". I'm looking for 2-3 so I don't have to replace front end parts as frequently. I'd would be great if I was wrong as the S10 springs are a tad cheaper and more straightforward...

22-1195HD questions
I'd hate to count the number of hours I've spent reading about springs. But I think I've come to a conclusion on what I want. I was initially going to just install the longer shackles, but the bolt will not come out of the current spring. So, I saw this as an opportunity to upgrade the springs and m...
