Where does everyone shop?? Suspension/Interior/Exterior??

Post by 1badASStro »

I was just wondering where everyone bought their Astro Stuff? Like suspension, Rollpans, Grills, Wheels, Etc... Is there an Astro performance sight or a good sight thats not extremely expensive!! A dedicated Astro sight?? I cant believe that I found these forums dedicated to Astro/Safari!!! Anymore like it??

Theres a "links" section in the buy/sell/trade section of the main forum page . there are so many good links to parts & info there that you could get lost there for days !!!!

good luck finding what ya need & ask if you have any questions . theres a wealth of knowledge here thats willing to help .

have fun & enjoy our little world here !! :D :D :D :D

Been around a long time. It started at another location but there were so many problems that some of the guys started this site. And slowly everyone migrated to this site. This IS the best automotive site on the web. I've been to many and never had the friendship and the willingness to help that I get here. This is a great group of guys and gals. \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

between this site and the "other" site you can find any answers to your questions, find almost any part you need, and just have a fun time with some really nice and knowledable people.

-EBAY
-For Sale section on astrosafarivans
-Stillen.com
-Godfather customs
-Airbagit.com
-Summitracing or Jegs

L & S Towing... Larry's alway comming across things in his travels.... from my RV(s) to my astro ext, Friday he had an old G20 on his flat bed and told me to come take what ever I needed before he scrapped it. (got sun visors, door handles and window cranks, door panels and thought about the bucket seats, but just didn't have the energy, not they were in the best condition anyway...)

I just dropped off the title to a 76 dodge rv that I got from Larry for $200, drove it home by replacing a small section of fuel line and putting in a couple gal of gas... on of chryslers best motors - 318, luckily it was a small rv, not even a duelly. probably 20 - 22 ft long.... I sold it three days later for $300 and I get to take the awning off for either my RV or preferably my Astro ( someday to be campervan)

Last night he had a late 70's early 80's full sized blazer, I got a Carburator for my work van and an almost new airfilter, it had some really nice wide off road wheels/tires, but I was too late for them, he sold the set for $100 - they wouldn't have fit my astro without major modifications, but I would have got them just for the sake of having them, just incase I ever wanted to supersize it...

He called to tell me he got a little over $600 for scrapping it, pluss the $100 for the tires, and what ever he gets for the catalytic conerter that he took off before I got there.... I hope a lot of people aren't scrapping astrovans. I need to have alot of them around for when I need parts and peices...... :-k
