I was thinking that, but, I know somebody running 20 cubes for 4 18s without any problems. He (Steve Meade) has a Tahoe though.
Actually I'm not sure where i'm gonna go. I'm setting up for Bass Race with some SPL runs. Not concentrating on SPL specific. I want to groundpound next season.
The enclosure I was talking about is pretty wierd from what I've gathered. It has a moveable back wall framed with 2x4s ready for concrete to be poured into it. The sides are 5 layers of 3/4" MDF. It's supposed to slide right in through the sliding door.
The 18" BTLs, from what I gather, can use small enclosures. Not sure if you've seen them though, so Here is the link to them. Scott from RE Audio is the owner of Fi Audio.
I've been told up to 10cubes per 18" sub. So I may go to 40. If this enclosure does what has been explained to me.[/url]

Wish I was going to WF this year. Had a chance but bought the Astro instead.
Hope you do good. I know about Cactus Sounds. Darn good subs. One of the events I attended had a Lexus (I think it was) with 1 18" in a wall, on 2 Lanzar 2000watt amps. I did a 152.something. Took a lot of people by suprise. I didnt look like much but it was loud.
Just out of curiousity, and I understand if you don't want to tell me. How many cubes and what size port are you running? I know I can get 60cubes in the van, but that'd practically leave no room for batteries and amplifiers. Van is so short.

I just ran across your stats page. Not bad on the scores, not bad at all. I sure hope my 'Stro will come close to comparing to yours.
208 points for this year. Damn, you were busting ass weren't you?
I'm still not sure of what or where I am going to go with the astro. AJ and Shawn Flemming both have differant ideas. They both know the ins and outs of the astro, but that doesn't help me any.
AJ said the enclosure he has for me is 30cubes, but after he described it, it seems a little bit bigger. I know the FI BTLs need 10 cubes each, so I'd need 40cubes (or 60 if I go with 6 18s like originally planned).
I may need to seriously pick your brains, if you don't mind. I know your getting ready for WF, so I'll be considerate and wait until after that.

Re: MyAstro "Under Construction"
What's up with the ford? Is that a 77? It is in great shape. Here's a pic of my parents 76, circa 1977. They still drive it, it is rusted all to heck and has 300,000 on it.AudioAnonymous wrote:

sweet! If you ever are itching to sell it, Let me know! The one in the picture I posted is pretty special to me. I learned how to walk in the back of it during a trip out west. (things were a little different in the child safety department then)
I would fix up mom and dads 76, but it is a complete hooptie now. Dad used to re-bondo the rust every few years, but has given up, and riveted old liscense plates in to fill the holes, then spraypainted the whole bottom half plain brown to blend in the rust. He has stated that one more major repair, and it's earned it's trip to the boneyard!

Wow, will you even be able to ride in there??? That's a lot of amps. DO you have dual batteries? If so, post a pic of the set up.
