Tool swaps

Post by Kidhauler »

This past weekend I had to buy a clutch fan tool and a power steering pulley puller. I had a thought that we could start a section on the board by area as to who has what specialty tool that they are willing to lend or help another member in the area use it to fix their van. This could save us all a small fortune on buying a bunch of tools that we will probably only ever use one or two times.

This way if you were in Vancouver say and needed a tool you could go to the b.c. section I had thought that going by state and province might work. Any thoughts?

I think it's the best idea to come out of BC in a long while. What did they do, start adding smart-juice to the water supply out there? :muhaha:

I don't like rainning on anyones parade, but on another site I visit the tool loaner program didn't work out well. At some time the tools eventually just disappeared. \:D/

or tool(s) back.
