power steering gear box

Mine is leaking has anyone done this replacement yet? Have not looked to deep into it just wondering if there are any tips tricks before I tear into it.

No tricks. You'll need a pretty good puller to get the pitman arm off. It's not hard at all to reseal it. All of the seal kits I've bought have a real good printed break down. \:D/

There is a special pitman arm puller, and you won`t get it off without one. It has thinner jaws than a regular 2 leg puller.

Pulling the pitman arm is the hardest part of the whole job. Rent a puller, trust us on this one.

Yeah, it's not a bad job. Also highly recommend grabbing a pitman arm puller from somewhere. I did the loaner tool thing at AdvanceAuto.
