AWD and Rear Wheel drive

Is there a difference between a rear wheel drive and awd steering box? Other than the pitman arm....They look the same.

Yes, the mounting hole pattern is different. No idea why this was done. I've talked CarDone (rebuilder) and aside from the case the parts are identical.

So I could use ANY awd box on mine? May be a different ratio though?

My research has not found anything aside from the standard 16/19:1 steering gear being available for AWD. The 12:1 FE2 steering gear was only available on 2WD vans.
