air bag steering column
Can I use a steering column that came with an airbag and remove the airbag? I wish to re use the cruise control from my 94 in my 89 and according to my haynes manual its the same. However the steering column from the 94 has the airbag and I do not want or need it.
Recently bought a 1989 Astro RS from Florida. Replaced stock engine witha 1997 5.7 vortec with TBI and replaced transmission with rebuilt 700R4 with mild shift kit.

If it fits use it. Just don't plug in the airbag wiring.
