I traded off my full-size spare and recieved a donut spare, a cruise control unit, and a coolant sensor. Unfortunately, I broke the sensor trying to remove it from the parts van. I'd say it wasn't a bad deal- I think my hitch can go back on now that I have the smaller spare. When I get the cruise hooked up I can stop worrying about my throttle getting stuck again. I still need to get that coolant sensor, but they're only around $12 new... I'm glad to finally be able to do some much needed repairs on the van!
Also, I did some talking and the owner is considering doing a trade for the van I'm getting all these parts off of. If he says yes, it'll leave me with a ton of engine parts. Also, the van itself is worn out a bit, but not wrecked, so it's a prime candidate for a 350 conversion when I get the money. So I guess just keep your fingers crossed for me.
All in all, yesterday was a good day.
