The engine RPM calculator is the formula to use.Use the bottom part of it and O/D is =.75

TB it is more a matter of making members aware of what they are building in-advance.I think you would be ok with the gears you got Moe.But might want to check to see where your going to end up.Actually surprised you have the gears you do.As I said what is more common is 3.42's.

When I installed the 2" lift and 235/75R-15 tires my gas mileage didn't change at all. After installing this lift I discovered that my rear springs were shot. I found it was actually cheaper to buy new S10 springs that new Astro springs. Found some Rancho shocks on sale at Amazon (just happen to have a gift certificate someone had given me), torqued the stock torsion bars some and now have plenty of clearance. AND, after replacing the shot stock leaf springs with new springs, I get 2-3 mpg better than before the lift was installed.

I would be cautious about buying used springs from a junk yard. I have friends who have bought used springs to save $ and found them to be worn out too.
