doing head gaskets on a 99 4.3. cant seem to get the driver side head off. got every bolt i can see (16 head bolts, 6 exh. mnfld bolts, all lifters and push rods). still stuck. any ideas?
any one know of a good how-to for this?
head gaskets.

Re: head gaskets.
Drive a screw driver between the head and block. If it still won't move then there's another bolt still in there.

sometimes its hard to see a few when they get completely covered in oily-goop in the corners under the valve covers.
