There's a problem with my Safari; She starts and runs very well in the morning, but after 10 or 15 minutes of running, shuts off on gear. If I stop on a red light for example, shuts off. It could be at drive or reverse, but not at parking or neutral. I have to drive it like a standard transmission vehicle, using neutral when stops to avoid the shut off situation, because once she turn off the first time, still shutting off when I brake. Sometimes, if I turn the wheel almost or completely to the limit, it shuts off too.
I don't know if it have something to do with the temperature, or the gasoline, but the gas filter is new, the battery is new, the air filter is a brand new short ram intake, I cleaned up the intake,...etc.
Please let me know your opinion, and sorry about my English. It's not my first language. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. I'll try to translate it in Spanish for better understanding, but If the torque converter solenoid is the problem, sounds a little bit complicated to perform a replacement of the part.Captn. Crunch wrote:Check your transmission torque converter solinoid

So, I have to go to a specialist to diagnose/solve the problem anyways (but I wanna Do it myself and save cash)
I'm not a talented mechanic, but I'll do what I understand of that process.
Any other recommendations?

If it will shut off just by turning the wheel to lock, could be something as simple as a tuneup, IAC valve, throttle body cleaning...

There's new spark plugs and wires, I cleaned up the throttle body, (but not the IAC valve),... I' ll make another test, because I think that there's something to do with the temperature... I don't know; maybe a sensor or something... It happens always at operating temp
