just now caught this thread… Wow, what a great kustom. My daily driver is an 63 Falcon, built as if it's the mid sixties; no billet, no plastic. I utilized all old school touches and body mods. I can really appreciate your work. Very nice!

I hey everyone good to be back I had not done anything on the Van for awhile. We started on the doors about a month ago this next week I will be working on the cowling and get that finished. I maybe redoing the side walls inside not sure yet if I want to go threw all of that or just finish this thing or start over. I will keep you posted.

Does anyone have any connections at a G.M. Junk Yard I'm Looking for a glass roof out of a new caddy SRX. It is a power glass sun roof.

Not sure if this is the style your looking for, but Webasto makes Panoramic Sunroofs:
P.S. If you get one, pick one up for me too

The SRX sunroof is about 5ft long I thought it would look good in the Van instead of a rag top. Then what I would like to do is covert the glass to metal so I would not cook in it.

Here's something to ponder on an Astro, might work. I looked at one of these years ago for a 29 Ford sedan I was building. You'd have your side glass and wrap around front glass but sheetmetal top area.

I thought about a Vista Roof but I want to keep the roof flat and not dome it. Thanks for the suggestion Rebel.

The SRX Sunroof has a cover that you can pull over the window to keep out the heat when you have it closed. Not only that, but I used Limo tint on the sunroof in my wife's Magnum, in addition to the cover. Helps a great deal since in that car the sunroof is only a couple of inches from my head. Works for us, since we don't much care to look out of it unless it's open.
