Rust, water leaks, etc.
A 27 year old van is going to be pretty tired. Hope your bank account can handle a project.

Hi MMJ,

I used to drive a 1994 G20 Chevy Sportvan, 8 passenger window. Dual air, throttle body simple fuel injection.
Before that I drove 1979 G20 Chevy Beauville with carb.

Very good van.
5.7 Liter V8’, 4 speed tranny,

Pop out side windows, pop out windows in rear door.

Standard length , 120" wheelbase.

15 inch 5 lug wheels on g20,
G30 may have 6 or 8 lug.

I installed rear Hellwig sway bar and KYB shocks,
The old vans still have rain gutter on roof ,so easy to mount roof cross bars.
But, the roof paint often fads on this vans and I had to have roof repainted.

Check roof for rust.

The big flat roof traps rain water, so I think I should park it on sloped driveway to help water run off.
