Astro seats into Express van?

Post by sfeaver »

Anybody ever tried putting Astro seats into a late model Express van? My father has a 2006 passenger van, but the seats kinda stink as there was no LT model. I have a set of LT seats out of my van that would work great if the bolts line up.

Short of me measureing both seats, I was wondering if someone has already been down this road before.

Thanks,
Scott

A while back I put two Astro seats in a Chevy G-10 full size "Shorty" van.
I had already purchased two swivel pedistals and I had to fabricate an adapter to attach the seats to the pedistal. It turned out great and they are much more comfortable than the factory seats. The seat attach bolts didn't match the factory pedistal either.

I think there are sensors in the Savana seats that interface into the 'puter.

Let me back up.....
Pilot seat?
Co-pilot seat?
Backseat driver seats?
