is that a single voice coil woofer?
i had 2 fosgate 15's in my old astro with a 800w pushing it.that was about 8 years ago.
when i decided to do this astro up i was way out of the loop.it was suggested that i use 1 dual voice coil 10" woofer (alpine type R).i was like,is that really enough?
let me tell you, this sinlge 10" kills my old 15's and im running it with a alpine mrp 650.its incredible that this kind of sound come out of one little woofer.2 of them would be to much.1 is nearly uncomfortable.
i paid $95 for it on ebay new!
i have it in a ported enclosure that sits between the front seat and doubles as my console.it on pedestals and woofer fires down.
just my 2 cents.

Sorry to jack your thread midnight, but burned; can you post some pics? I am wanting to build a console soon with a sub in it. I was rolling down the street today and the cherry limeade I dumped convinced me it's time!!burned wrote:

the enclosure is a real simple ported box with a cheap auto parts store cup holder screwed to the top.it fits tight between the seats.
its simple and effective and most people do not realize that its the enclosure.
the stock cup holders are useless.
