Fuel Tanks

Post by batmo »

I have no idea where this belongs so I put it here.

I just noticed my parts vans has a much larger fuel tank. at least a foot longer!

anyone have experience swapping them? I guessing its a pretty straight forward/direct swap but figured it doesnt hurt to ask..

thanks

Not a big deal to swap.
Mine was a little more difficult,,went from Astro to a more narrow S-10 tank to make room for driveshaft angle.

Need more info, add your vans' data to your signature. The tank strap locations seem to be in the same location for all these vans, but the fuel pump might be of significantly different design to not allow the swap.
