What style are you?
We are 878 users on this site, and I wonder. Someone builds low and shaved. Someone builds high for off road. Someone wants the original. What style do you like? :-k
Re: What style are you?
I am "More efficient" without major mods.... style.
Better gas mileage with better performance, without major surgery.
Thats me.

I like both off road and ultra custom. I'm an old motor head at heart. I like those that will smoke the tires. But my van is a utility vehicle. The mods are done for practical reasons.

OEM plus. I hope to build my van as if Chevy built an ZR-2 Astro.

Re: What style are you?
I guess I'm in the "eternal project stage" style....
I appreciate them all, but I'm a "lifted" kind of guy.

Re: What style are you?
if money was no issues - then I would have one of each - but I guess my reason for having the van in the first place to to haul the family, dog, tent trailer, and get groceries, so I guess I would lean toward decent on gravel, slippery, and off road - hum - I own an AWD Astro - I think it fits that bill - maybe more power would be nice. I'm dreaming of a V8 power plant, just like the 78 I used to drive.... think "white christmas" when saying that....

Re: What style are you?
There was once when I was certain that I was going to have my Astro lifted, on 33" tires, with a 4 - 5 leaf spring assembly, a real 2 speed manual 4WD transfer case and Ford 4:10 or Chevy 3:73 differentials. I would have completed this with a front winch...
But, I do like the stock configuration in that I can drive to work hell bent on getting there no less than 15 minutes late with the AWD system constantly kicking in and keeping me on the road...
Eventually, I'm either going to end up with a 4x4 truck or customize the stro as above. Probably I'll do the custom thing just because it's cheaper and will mean more to me...

Ha. Thanks Matt. We're getting there. And as a work in progress, it works for me.
The Gas Gas is only 250lbs for a 450cc street legal dual sport. Its very easy on the van.

I am of the lowered but practical and driveable persuasion.
I do admire all the fabrication that goes into creating an airbagged van that lays frame, but I am building a long distance cruiser/ tow vehicle and camping van.
