Re: lowrider hydraulics
what are you looking at doing with the juice? winning some hop competitions or simple front, back, side to side, pancake etc?

Re: lowrider hydraulics
No, not jump. Only raise and lower. I hate the sound of the air compressor in air systems. Therefore, I want hydraulics. I have installed an air system on a 65 VW, sounds like s**t.

Re: lowrider hydraulics
I have 101 ideas on what I want to do with my Astro. With hydraulics I plan to remove the leaf spring and mount a 4 Link and a panhard rod or a watts link. then try with coil springs and see how the car behaves. And if everythig works I will mount the hydraulic.

Re: lowrider hydraulics
if it's the noise that bugs you then you can mount the compressors outside underneath the van. mount them on rubber cushions. remember and air ride system will take up less space while adding less weight. not to mention being a bit higher in the maintenance end along with the risk of oil leaks. just a thought.
however, if you're intent on going with hydro's i've always had good luck with equipment from Red's. Lately i've heard good things about Homies Hydros. I believe they do their own pumps and dumps but have no personal experience with them. both should be good for the set up you want to go with for simple front, back and side to side. good luck and as always, post pics.
