Off Road Dream

Post by ihatemybike »

Had a dream last night that I was running a rather stock Green on Black Bear Pass in Colorado and with a little help from my wife and her Jeep was actually getting it done. The only mods being front bumper cover removal and tow points front and rear. Was very worried about my unprotected oil and trans pans though.

What an awsome dream. Mine never make any sense and are often horrifying. Like wake up with a pulse of 150.

Maybe you just had a vision of what you need to do to your van to be really happy with it. The subconscious is weird that way.

We drove it last summer with the Jeep, part of the trail had my wife very nervous. I had to get out and spot her on a section where she was staring down at Telluride, but couldn't see the trail in front of her.

After Grumpy is lifted, I plan on taking it down it. Stock Green would be quite a challenge though.

You have really got to lay off the spicy food before bedtime.

I love those places. I've done Shelf Road and Phantom Canyon Drive in the Smilie Van. No problems on either. I might have to try Bear Pass the next time I'm in that area. It doesn't sound much more difficult than the drive up to Pikes Peak. I've done that twice. Pikes Peak's elevation is 14110 ft. Awesome drive. \:D/
