Single Din - Double Din

Post by Lockboy1691 »

I am wondering if it is possible to hook up a 2 din head unit with the wiring of a 1 din stereo?

It's possible to wire anything up. Most new radios will have a harness that plugs into the radio. I like to buy an adapter harness that plugs into the vehicle's harness. The radio's harness and the adapter harness gets wired together, this can be done in the comfort of your house, garage, etc. Then it's just a matter of plugging everything together in the vehicle.

Biggest problem you have is stock these vans use 1.5 DIN. There isn't room for Double DIN without modifying the dash.
