93 astro issues plz help

ive got a 93 astro with the 4l60e tranny.. The owners was driving it home one night and the speedometer quit and it started shifting funny... So they assumed it was the tranny and replaced it with a tranny from a 94 chevy caprice and still the same problems... They must have changed the round tranny plug on the passenger side cause it had 13 wires instead of the 12... So now i have got it and started trying to figure it out i have replaced the VSS in the tailshaft, and put the internal wiring harness from the astro in it and still nothing... Also i put a 12 wire plug back on it but seen what could be an issue with it all the wires matched up color coded but a couple.. on the plug i have 2 yellow wires with small black stipes on the harness coming from the computer i have 1 yellow wire with a black stripe and a black wire with a tiny yellow tripe on it( its also 12v when the switch is on) how do i need to hook these wires up since they arent color coded like the rest? Any help would be greatly appreciated since i been working on this thing for close to a week now and im ready to junk it and it isnt even mine to junk lol...
